Job summary

You will prepare patient histories, verify identities, operate imaging equipment safely, and document radiation exposure in line with laws and Akumin policies. The role emphasizes patient experience and accurate image sharing with radiologists.

Qualifications

• Certificate from college or technical school is required.
• ARRT(M) and state license where applicable.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required.
• Must meet MQSA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams following established protocols and safety.
• Verify patient identity, review history, and explain the procedure clearly.
• Maintain MQSA/ACR compliance and assist with quality controls and documentation.
• Ensure high-quality images for radiologist interpretation and timely turnaround.
