Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin is seeking a customer service professional to support Diagnostic Laboratories. You will act as the liaison between customers and internal teams, manage test menu updates, pricing guidance, and complex issue resolution while maintaining documentation and adherence to procedures.

Applicants should have a science degree or equivalent experience, 1–3 years in a lab-related or healthcare setting, and strong communication skills to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in science required.
• Equivalent combination of education and 3 to 5 years related experience may be substituted for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Screens and handles all inbound customer service requests via phone and email; serves as the face of Diagnostic Labs.
• Speaks to inquiries at a high level about products/services.
• Communicates pricing and CPT/PLA codes for test offerings.
• Provides internal support to laboratories and interfaces with Sales, Billing, and other departments.
• Resolves and documents complex issues with clients, specimens, requisitions, and billing.
• Acts as subject matter expert on web-based order entry and reporting applications.
• Identifies customer needs and opportunities for new services.
• Maintains client accounts and supports receiving payments on outstanding invoices.
• Publishes high-quality, accurate customer-facing documents.
• Performs duties within regulatory and SOP requirements.
