Salary range: $50.00/hr - $69.70/hr (base pay)
Job Summary
The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist – CT is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures in a manner that is accurate, timely, and patient-centered. This role ensures the safe and effective operation of imaging equipment while maintaining compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and radiation safety guidelines. The technologist serves patients, physicians, staff, and regulatory agencies, with a strong focus on excellent customer service and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures as ordered by referring physicians in accordance with established protocols and clinical standards.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to appropriate radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information at all times.
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, including incident reporting and documentation requirements.
- Participate in Radiology Management System functions related to patient scheduling, imaging procedures, and reporting.
- Provide patient education and instructions before, during, and after CT procedures as required.
- Maintain effective communication with referring physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare team members to support efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrate adherence to accepted clinical principles, methods, and procedures while performing CT examinations.
- Uphold the service delivery standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology in all interactions with patients, visitors, employees, and other customers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
