Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Center seeks a Diagnostic Imaging Technical Lead for the full-time night shift (Mon-Thu, 6:15pm–6:45am). The role includes onboarding new staff and ensuring high-quality imaging services. Eligible for sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT, RDMS, RVT, ARMRIT, CAMRT or NMTCB required at start.
• Licensure as required by the state for imaging centers.
• Three years of imaging experience in hospital/healthcare settings.
• Graduate from an accredited radiography, nuclear medicine or MRI program.

Responsibilities

• Obtain clinical history and consent to aid optimization of exams.
• Coordinate orientation and training for new team members and students.
• Maintain a safe, orderly environment and ensure proper supplies.
• Ensure rooms are stocked with necessary procedure supplies.

Inova Fairfax Medical Center is looking for a dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Technical Lead to join the team. This role will be a Full-Time Nightshift Monday-Thursday. 6:15pm - 6:45am. Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Assistance eligible.

Diagnostic Imaging Technical Lead Job Responsibilities

• Obtains clinical history/informed consent from patients or patients' charts to assist the physician in optimizing the performance and interpretation of the examination, as evidenced by the exam results.
• Coordinates new team member and student department orientation/training. Assists with patient and team member scheduling to enhance the productivity of the department.
• Maintains an orderly, safe, and clean environment to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
• Ensures rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies for procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certification - Basic Life Support Upon Start; Must be certified by at least one of the following: ARRT, RDMS, RVT, ARMRIT, CAMRT or NMTCB;as applicable with additional certification in an applicable imaging modality required Upon Start
• Licensure - Upon start, must be licensed as required by the state of employment if employed at an Inova Health System freestanding Imaging Center not affiliated with one of the Inova hospitals.
• Experience - Three years of Imaging experience in an applicable modality, X-Ray or Ultrasound or Cat Scan or Mammography or MRI or Interventional Radiology or Nuclear Medicine in a hospital/healthcare environment, Recent hospital experience.
• Education - Graduate of an accredited school/program of radiography, Nuclear Medicine or MRI certification from ARMRIT or CAMRT, Graduate of an accredited school of radiography or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
