Community Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Support Clerk II to provide essential clerical support for physicians, technical and medical staff in expediting diagnostic imaging services. The role includes patient scheduling, data entry, and responding to inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience, and proficiency with MS Office.

Job description

Salary Range: $24.50 - $24.75 per hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

Provides clerical support to physicians, technical staff and medical staff to expedite diagnostic imaging services for patients. The Diagnostic Imaging Support Clerk II also serves as a mentor for other staff. This role involves registering and scheduling diagnotic imaging services, assisting with patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.

Required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• One (1) year of experience in a Diagnostic Imaging setting
• Proficient with MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of medical coverage plans including HMO, PPO, and state programs with registrationexperience and point of service collections
• Proficient in scheduling general diagnostic imaging appointments

Preferred

• Bilingual in Spanish
