Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Scheduler obtains, enters and verifies complete and accurate patient information to ensure a positive hospital experience, efficiently schedules all Radiology exams obtaining information necessary to ensure exam appropriateness, verifies authorizations and insurance information, explains financial requirements to patients/responsible parties and instructs as to payment procedure when required, interacts with other hospital departments, carriers and physician offices for the purpose of acquiring accurate demographic and insurance information.
