Essentia Health’s St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd, MN seeks a Radiology Administration leader to oversee operations of general radiology services at a Level III Trauma Center.

• Oversees hiring, orientation, counseling, evaluation, and disciplinary actions; ensures staff training and development.

In this role you will get too: Manages the operations and activities of general radiology services. Provides accountability to the Radiology Leader for operating and capital budget performance and fiscal responsibilities. Responsible for the planning, development, implementation of policies, procedures, and systems of the department to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of SMDC Radiology as well as the requirements of Joint Commission, American College of Radiology, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Performs hiring, orienting, counseling, evaluating, and disciplinary actions as warranted. Ensures that staff members are adequately trained and developed.

Educational Requirements:

• Graduate of/or actively seeking a degree from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree (radiologic technology, an allied health/science area, or in a healthcare/business management) and two years of healthcare leadership experience

OR

• Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in supervising/managing radiology clinical operations including proven experience and success with implementing significant organizational change, setting performance measurements, establishing budget plans and monitoring process, strategic planning, program development and implementation and process improvement techniques
