Promotive in Upper Arlington, OH is seeking a Diagnostic Automotive Technician to diagnose electrical and drivability issues and perform major repairs. You’ll work Monday–Friday with no weekends, a 40-hour typical week, and a flat-rate pay model paying $30–$55 per flagged hour.

You’ll have access to Autel and Snap-on tools, a supportive team, and opportunities to mentor junior technicians. Relevant ASE certifications and experience preferred; relocation and sign-on bonuses may apply.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and drivability skills.
• Experience with major repairs and mentoring other technicians is a plus.
• Residence within 30 miles of the shop.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose electrical, drivability, and complex mechanical concerns.
• Perform major repairs, including engine and transmission work.
• Complete digital vehicle inspections and document findings, labor times, and parts needs.
