Job summary

Auto Safety Center in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking an experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician to diagnose electrical, drivability and check-engine-light concerns. The role offers $40–$57 per flagged hour with guaranteed minimum hours and a flat rate pay structure, with earning potential up to $165,000+.

Schedule Monday–Friday with no weekends. Expect a diverse workload including engine replacements and major mechanical repairs on Domestic, Asian and European vehicles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience.
• Strong electrical, drivability, and advanced diagnostic skills.
• Experience with engine replacements and major mechanical repairs.
• Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently.
• Own professional automotive tools.
• ASE Certifications preferred, not required.
• Strong B-Level Technicians with advanced diagnostic skills are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical, drivability, and check-engine-light concerns
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and complex automotive diagnostics
• Complete engine replacements and major mechanical repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections
• Diagnose and repair Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
• Complete diagnostic and repair work independently while maintaining quality workmanship
