Job summary

Medical City Denton is seeking a Diag Imag Rad Tech Reg PRN to perform quality radiologic procedures under physician orders and to provide excellent patient care. The role supports call and holiday coverage and requires ongoing competency in procedures and radiation safety.

The ideal candidate has ARRT-R Radiography certification or equivalent, is a licensed Radiologic Technologist, and has vocational training. This PRN position offers benefits and integrates with our radiology team.

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 1 year experience.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality Radiologic procedures in accordance with physician orders.
• Maintain patient care and provide excellent customer service.
• Participate in call and holiday coverage as needed.
• Maintain competencies and knowledge of procedures.
• Participate in equipment quality control checks.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs quality Radiologic procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
