Medical City Decatur, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN RN for procedures in the Radiology Department. The role delivers professional nursing care to inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic or interventional procedures and ensures assessments and nursing interventions meet standards of care.

Requirements include ACLS, BCLS, PALS within specified timeframes, RN licensure, and an Associate or Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certificates are required or must be obtained within timeframes.
• RN licensure required with active status.
• Associate or Bachelors degree in nursing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Delivers professional nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or interventional procedures in Radiology.
• Performs assessments and nursing interventions per Nursing Process and delegated medical duties.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Delivers professional nursing care to both inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic or interventional procedures in the Radiology Department.Performs assessments and medically delegated or nursing interventions meeting appropriate standards of care utilizing the Nursing Process. Maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience
• Additionalexperience in area of specialty preferred.
