Montefiore Einstein's CHWI in the Bronx seeks a Research Associate to support patients with type 2 diabetes by reducing barriers to management and improving access to care. This 100% grant-funded role collaborates with interdisciplinary clinical teams, social service providers, and study staff.

The role reports to the program manager and will help guide implementation strategies, engage participants, and ensure integration of the research intervention into primary care settings.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with research data entry and office software.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred; strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with REDCap and EPIC databases is a plus.

Mansioni

• Execute non-clinical research operations and protocols for the T2D_CATCH study.
• Partner with Principal Investigators and Research Managers to oversee daily study activities.
• Inform content of research materials and strategy based on diabetes management knowledge.
• Assist in developing study protocols, policies and workflows.
• Follow study protocols, policies, and workflows.
• Conduct one-on-one virtual or in-person sessions for eligible participants.
• Promote shared decision making on use of diabetes technology between participants and providers.
• Follow up with participants to ensure engagement and address barriers.
• Collect research data and document outcomes.
