Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, Alaska seeks an Exercise Physiologist Health Educator to provide exercise testing and prescription and health education as part of the Diabetes Prevention and Control team. Travel to villages will be required, and services are delivered through the Wellness Center.

The role emphasizes diabetes prevention, cardiovascular risk reduction, and patient education within Alaska Native communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science required.
• EPC board certification and CPR certification; driver’s license.
• Two years’ experience in patient education and case management preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide exercise testing and prescription for Diabetes Prevention and Control.
• Deliver health education via YKHC Wellness Center and village travel.
• Collaborate with care providers, case managers and outreach specialists.
