Job summary

EVERSANA seeks a Field Access Manager to serve as the primary contact for designated accounts, educating HCP staff on access and payer processes, and coordinating patient services to support therapy access. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to optimize access strategies and drive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; healthcare degree advantageous.
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical industry with payer policy and patient access.
• 5+ years of experience in benefit verifications and/or prior-authorization requirements or equivalent experience in patient access.
• Knowledge of Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) policies and processes with experience in Medicare Parts B & D.
• Knowledge and understanding of specialty markets, HUB/reimbursement services and patient access programs.
• Strong understanding of specialty product access/reimbursement processes including Patient Support Services programs.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market dynamics, competitor activity, and continuous diabetes monitoring trends.
• Knowledge of Integrated Delivery Network/Integrated Health Systems.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft applications and the ability to conduct virtual engagements via Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a high level of initiative and independence.
• Proven success in working in a cross functional environment.
• Ability to conduct impactful educational presentations.
• Strong knowledge of Veeva systems.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCP staff to navigate access and payer approval processes.
• Provide resources to support the patient journey including prior authorizations.
• Coordinate utilization of the patient service platform to HUB or SP for approved therapy.
• Coordinate annual pharmacy reauthorizations at designated accounts to ensure continuation of therapy.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Market Access, Patient Services and more to address time sensitive market development.
• Build strategic business plans to meet needs of top accounts and market access initiatives.
• Stay informed on payer landscape and formulary impacts at national/regional/local levels.
• Provide field insights to support patient/payer programs offered by Patient Support Programs.
• Anticipate and address account and patient access issues with stakeholders.
• Demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion.
