Job summary

Chevo LLC is seeking a Portfolio Manager to support a DHS customer based in DC. The role coordinates across program managers to ensure R&D projects align with DHS priorities and lifecycle needs.

Responsibilities include leading IPT activities, prioritizing NPEs, and preparing leadership briefs. Requires an active Secret clearance, Bachelor's degree, and 7+ years of DHS engagement experience. Hybrid options may be available, onsite at St. Elizabeth's Campus, DC.

Qualifications

• Active secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of experience supporting DHS and other Federal/state agencies.
• Broad experience in project management, financials, and DHS domain knowledge.
• R&D lifecycle experience including requirements, technology scouting, and transition.

Responsibilities

• Assist Components through RDT&E need intake and prioritization and coordinate with partners for planning and execution.
• Facilitate the integrated project team (IPT) process with Components.
• Coordinate senior leadership engagements between customer and Components.
• Identify DHS RDT&E needs and align portfolio priorities to strategic mission areas.
• Develop briefs, read-aheads, quad charts, and senior leadership materials for reviews.
• Conduct portfolio-level reviews of program status and document outcomes.
• Support PPBE processes by reviewing funding and budget proposals.
• Maintain awareness of all component engagements and ensure portfolio completeness.
