Job summary

Xenith Solutions is seeking a Database Developer / Engineer to support a DHS ICE program. You will design, develop, and optimize complex SQL objects, implement data archiving strategies, and ensure secure, scalable data services in an Agile environment.

Required qualifications include 5 years of related experience, a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT, DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, and the ability to obtain a DHS Background Investigation.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 compliant IAT Level II certification, such as the CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Ability to obtain DHS Background Investigation.

Responsibilities

• The Database Developer / Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex database objects including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views.
• Analyze SQL query execution plans to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize queries for efficiency and scalability.
• Develop and document a comprehensive Data Archiving Plan and data lifecycle management strategies.
• Develop, test, and execute targeted SQL scripts for data corrections and migrations while ensuring data integrity.
• Implement automated database installation, configuration, and schema management using Liquibase to ensure repeatable deployments.
