Job summary

Xenith Solutions is seeking a Database Developer / Engineer to support ICE under a DHS contract. You will design, develop, and maintain complex database objects, optimize SQL, and implement automated deployment and data correction processes in an Agile environment.

Ideal candidates hold 5+ years of DB experience, a CS/IT degree, and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification with the ability to obtain a DHS background check. Experience with Liquibase and cloud platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related work experience executing the described job description.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• DoD 8570 compliant IAT Level II certification, such as the CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Ability to obtain DHS Background Investigation.

Responsibilities

• Database performance optimization: Analyze SQL query execution plans to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
• Data archiving strategy and planning: Define data retention and archiving procedures.
• Data lifecycle management: Design and maintain data archiving processes for integrity and compliance.
• Data correction and migration: Develop and run SQL scripts for data corrections and migrations.
• Automated database deployment: Use Liquibase for automated installation, configuration, and schema management.
