Job summary

Diverse Facility Solutions, Inc. seeks a Floor Tech to support custodial services at our facilities. Responsibilities include carpet extraction, encapsulation and spotting, plus hard floor stripping, waxing, polishing and detailing to keep buildings clean and sanitary.

You will perform minor maintenance, maintain equipment, handle chemicals safely, wear PPE, and report issues to management. The job requires physical work and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques.
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions.
• Good client/customer service skills.
• Strong ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpet extraction, encapsulation, spotting.
• Strip, wax, burnish, polish, and scrub hard floors.
• Complete facility detailing tasks as assigned.
• Perform minor maintenance repairs and report damages.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, safe state.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in clean, safe, operable condition.
• Label, dilute and use chemicals properly.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Perform other custodial duties as assigned.
