Temco Logistics is a veteran provider of final-mile delivery services partnering with The Home Depot to offer Direct from Store experiences. The role centers on coordinating in-field deliveries, managing drivers, and maintaining strong client relations across multiple stores.

Candidates should have 3–7 years in operations/logistics, strong communication, and proven leadership abilities to optimize routes, safety, and service quality in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Prefer 3–7 years’ experience in Operations and/or Logistics Management/Transportation.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with stores, drivers, and clients.
• Excellent communication and time management skills; attention to detail and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Visit several in-field stores daily to evaluate deliveries (start 6:00 AM).
• Respond to customer complaints, delivery inquiries, and escalations the same day.
• Be available off-hours to address escalations from The Home Depot within the same day.
• Monitor technicians goals and metrics; document service failures and propose improvements.
• Ensure technicians' uniform adherence and promote dock safety.
• Coordinate fuel needs and preventive maintenance for vehicle fleet.

Responsibilities

• Managers will be required to visit several in-field stores per day to evaluate deliveries. (Start 6:00 AM)


• Manager must be able respond to all customer complaints, delivery inquires, and escalations with coordination through The Home Depot store associate and/or management within same day of original contact.


• Manager must be available off-hours to respond to escalated issues from The Home Depot within the same day of original contact.


• Monitor Technicians goals and metrics, provide assessments, document service failures, and develop correction and improvement plans.


• Ensure Technicians Uniform adherence.


• Promote Dock Safety and ensure adherence.


• Must possess driver/fleet management experience.


• Must be able to handle multiple drivers/routes in several locations.


• Communicate customer needs to Drivers, participate in recruitment, development, and retention of drivers through a culture of mutual respect and dedication to providing top-notch customer service.


• Verify route documentation and confirm all routes are correct prior to dispatch times.


• Create Technicians schedule and assign routes, reassign Technicians routes day of on DSR.


• Coordinate fuel needs and preventative maintenance for vehicle fleet.


• Regularly inspect all vehicles to ensure proper usage and care by Technicians and recommend corrective action as needed.


• Secure estimates for any vehicle repairs and submit to management for approval.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prefer 3-7 years’ experience in Operations and/or Logistics Management/Transportation


• Deep understanding and knowledge of building and maintaining relationships


• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or similar field preferred/experience


• Excellent communication and time management skills desired; attention to detail and ability to analyze and process improve strongly preferred.


• Demonstrated success in developing and managing employees, creating a quality and service-oriented workplace.
