Job summary

Temco Logistics, a proud subsidy of The Home Depot, seeks a Driver Manager to join our team and deliver exceptional final-mile service. You will focus on safety, customer service, and Temco's brand standards in a white-glove delivery environment for Home Appliance Installation.

Responsibilities include monitoring on-road operations, coaching drivers, scheduling, DOT compliance, payroll coordination, and training new staff to ensure readiness and success across daily routes.

Qualifications

• Home appliance installation or mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of routing, scheduling, DOT and safety compliance.
• Proven hands-on leadership and coverage during absences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor on-road operations and support drivers with calls, exceptions and issue resolution.
• Prepare manifests, review routing for optimization and DOT compliance, coordinate changes with the MDO team.
• Train and onboard new customer service staff.
• Build office and driver schedules and ensure hours adherence.
• Review payroll accuracy and partner with Driver Managers on route adjustments.
• Manage check-in compliance and daily exception processing (MARS, reschedules, cancellations).
• Order office supplies and maintain proper staging of product and paperwork.
• Support inbound/outbound processes in 3PL locations.
• Investigate freight and Sedgewick claims.
• Assess waste/recycling operations and recommend improvements.
• Lead and support drivers daily to ensure readiness and success.
• Monitor performance metrics and coach for improvement.
• Oversee DOT compliance and safety standards for drivers and equipment.
• Conduct on-road observations and Safe Work Habits Assessments.
• Partner with operations to optimize routes and maintain fairness.
• Drive a culture of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

This position focuses on safety, customer service, and maintaining Temco's brand standards in awhite-glove deliveryenvironment for Home Appliance Installation.

Must Have Skills

• Home Appliance Installationor mechanical aptitude who can learn the home appliance installation process.
• Transportation Operationsknowledge (Routing, Scheduling, DOT & Safety Compliance)
• Hands on leadership. Ability to fill in during absences, or busy business seasons.

Scheduled:4am start 10-12 hours shifts M-Sat.
