Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of clinical training in an AMA approved program.
• Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training.
• ARRT and current Louisiana LSRT license (or LSRT temp license) and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients during radiologic procedures with attention to privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain infection control standards and safe operation of radiologic equipment.
• Accurately use Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS for imaging and records.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested, including Radiology Transporter tasks when needed.

Education
