Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic exams while ensuring patient privacy and adhering to infection control standards. The role focuses on safe operation of radiology equipment and maintaining image quality.

The position requires 2 years of AMA-approved radiologic training, ARRT certification and Louisiana LSRT licensure (or eligible), and BLS certification. New graduates may apply with a LSRT temp license.

Qualifications

• 2 years of AMA approved radiologic technology program
• Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training
• ARRT certification and current Louisiana LSRT license or eligible; LSRT temp license and BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care with proper technique and verify accuracy of radiology orders; confirm patient identity and gather relevant information.
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment; ensure clean, disinfected work areas and proper PACS use.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to minimize exposure; use ALARA principles and ensure quality imaging with correct positioning.
• Perform additional duties as needed, including Radiology Transporter responsibilities when required.
