Job summary

Concept Plus seeks a Test Engineer to support federal IT systems across development, operations, and modernization initiatives. This role validates functionality, performance, and data integrity within a DevSecOps environment.

You will collaborate with development teams, Cloud Engineering, DevSecOps resources, Product Owners, and the PMO to ensure testing is integrated into the delivery lifecycle and supports automated validation within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering/CS or related field required.
• Experience with Agile software testing in federal/regulated environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for system, integration, and regression testing.
• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Embed SAST/DAST and container scanning into pipelines for compliance and vulnerability management.
• Perform automated test scripting for performance and security testing.
• Enforce federal cybersecurity standards (STIGs, RMF) and conduct automated compliance testing.
• Validate system functionality, performance, and data integrity across environments.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, DevSecOps, and Cloud Engineering teams to support end-to-end delivery.
• Identify, document, and track defects with timely resolutions.
