Job summary

Concept Plus is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to support federal IT systems within a CI/CD DevSecOps environment. You will develop and maintain applications, ensure code is integrated, tested, and deployed efficiently across development, security, and operations workflows.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software development and DevOps experience.
• Experience in DevSecOps environments (CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, cloud platforms).
• Hands-on with Git, Docker, Kubernetes and IaC tools.
• Proficiency in Java or similar object-oriented programming languages.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Tier-3 Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support secure provisioning and monitoring of cloud environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using modern software development practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline execution, ensuring code is integrated, tested, and deployed efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevSecOps, QA, and Cloud Engineering to support end-to-end delivery.
• Develop and maintain APIs, services, and backend components.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews.
• Ensure code meets security, performance, and quality standards.
• Support automated testing and validation within the DevSecOps pipeline.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and integration challenges.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing to support team onboarding and system understanding.
