Job summary

Concept Plus is hiring a Mid-Level Software Developer to support federal IT systems within a CI/CD DevSecOps environment. You will develop and maintain applications, ensuring code is integrated, tested, and deployed efficiently across development, security, and operations workflows.

The role requires knowledge of federal IT processes and a Java-based tech stack operating across cloud environments, with Agile collaboration and a focus on secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of software development and DevOps experience with automated pipelines.
• Experience in DevSecOps environments (CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, cloud platforms).
• Hands-on with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools.
• Proficiency in Java or similar object-oriented programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Support secure provisioning and monitoring of cloud environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using modern software development practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline execution, ensuring code is integrated, tested, and deployed efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end delivery.
• Develop and maintain APIs, services, and backend components.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.
• Ensure code meets security, performance, and quality standards.
• Support automated testing and validation within the DevSecOps pipeline.
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues.
