Job summary

Las Vegas Sands Corp. is seeking a Principal DevSecOps and Release Engineer to architect secure, scalable deployment pipelines across our casino systems. You will lead the framework for DevSecOps, automate release processes, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering reliable software.

Qualifications

10+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps or Release Engineering in large-scale systems.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity.
Ability to obtain required certifications.
Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift and containerization.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell.

Responsibilities

Define, champion, and implement a robust DevSecOps strategy aligned with business objectives.
Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and security-injected deployment processes.
Integrate security practices into the development lifecycle (SAST/DAST, vulnerability management).
Design secure deployment strategies for multi-tenant environments.
Collaborate with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize.
Drive platform observability with monitoring, logging, tracing (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
Plan end-to-end software releases across environments with deployment readiness.
Define release management processes including versioning and rollback.
Perform duties safely and regularly attend scheduled work.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
