Job summary

Las Vegas Sands Corp. seeks a Sr Engineer – Cyber Security to design, implement, and support application security within SDLCs. You will partner with development, platform engineering, and cyber security teams to assess risk and drive secure software delivery.

Responsibilities include AI-assisted threat modeling, vulnerability remediation, and integration of security tooling into CI/CD pipelines. This role requires strong communication and mentoring across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in cyber security or IT with SDLC, DevSecOps, or app security program support.
• Experience implementing SAST/DAST, SCA, secrets & container scanning.
• Ability to design cyber security solutions that integrate with existing infrastructure.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and support application security across SDLCs and CI/CD workflows.
• Evaluate security technologies, perform risk analysis, and guide remediation.
• Lead AI-assisted threat modeling and vulnerability triage.
• Integrate AI-enabled security automation into pipelines and release gating.
• Create design materials, SOPs, diagrams, metrics, and reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in CAB meetings.
