Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. in Maryland seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to weave security into the CI/CD pipeline and strengthen the software development lifecycle.

You will architect secure CI/CD pipelines, automate security tooling, and protect infrastructure, build, and deployment processes while collaborating with a growth-minded team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• At least seven (7) years in DevOps or cybersecurity.
• At least five (5) years architecting secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Subject matter expert in scripting languages, IaC, and container security.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize the software development environment with a focus on integrating security into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Own the security of the infrastructure, build, integration, and software deployment process.

Position Summary

Develops, maintains, and optimizes the software development environment with a primary focus on integrating security into the CI/CD pipeline. Champions DevSecOps best practices, focusing on “shifting security left” by integrating automated security tools and processes directly into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to identify and remediate vulnerabilities early. Is responsible for the security of the infrastructure, build, integration, and software deployment process.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related area of specialty is preferred.

General Experience

At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in either a DevOps or cybersecurity role.

Specialized Experience

• At least five (5) years of hands‑on experience architecting and implementing secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be a subject matter expert in scripting languages, infrastructure-as-code, and container security.
