Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. in Maryland seeks a Senior Software Security Engineer to develop, maintain, and optimize the software development environment with a focus on integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with development teams to implement automated security checks, apply scripting in Ruby and Python, and help advance infrastructure-as-code and container security across on-site projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Two (2) years of experience integrating security tools (SAST/DAST) into CI/CD pipelines.

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland.

Position Summary

Develops, maintains, and optimizes the software development environment, with a growing focus on integrating security practices. Is responsible for the infrastructure, build, integration, and software deployment process. Works with development teams to implement automated security checks within the CI/CD pipeline. Should know scripting languages such as Ruby and Python.

Required Qualifications

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or area of specialty is preferred.

General Experience

At least five (5) years of relevant experience.

Specialized Experience

• At least two (2) years of experience integrating security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in scripting languages and has experience with infrastructure-as-code and container security.
