Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. is seeking an on-site cybersecurity support professional in Maryland. You will assist with implementing and maintaining cybersecurity solutions, troubleshoot tools, respond to alerts, and help analyze incidents under senior engineers.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years in software engineering or systems administration, plus experience with firewalls, IDPS, or endpoint security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Cybersecurity, CS, IS, Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years as a software engineer or systems administrator.
• At least 1 year with security technologies such as firewalls, IDPS, or endpoint security.

Responsibilities

Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. All positions are required to be on-site at various locations in Maryland.

Position Summary:

Assists in the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of cybersecurity solutions across the enterprise. Works under the direction of senior engineers to configure and troubleshoot security tools, respond to security alerts, and perform initial analysis of potential security incidents. Helps maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.
General Experience: At least three (3) years of experience as a software engineer or systems administrator.
Specialized Experience: At least one (1) year of experience working directly with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), or endpoint security solutions.
