Banyan Software is hiring an engineer to own parts of our AWS and Kubernetes platform while leading security and compliance work. You’ll dedicate about half your time to security tasks, with broad ownership and tangible impact on how we build and ship.

The role blends infrastructure, security, and operations across a growing portfolio. We value practical automation, self-direction, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in DevOps, platform, SRE, or security engineering.
• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes.
• Solid working knowledge of AWS, including IAM, networking, and core services.

Responsabilités

• Own AWS and Kubernetes platform components and drive day-to-day security and compliance.
• Lead vulnerability management, triage CVEs from ECR scans, and route fixes to the right teams.
• Monitor AWS security alerts (GuardDuty, Security Hub) and respond to incidents.
• Manage internal access control and security policies for development and data handling.
• Participate in design reviews and threat modeling with engineering teams.
• Coordinate penetration tests and security awareness activities across the org.
