Job summary

Jobot is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to own pipelines, containers, and deployment infrastructure for mission-critical submarine software. This on-site role in Middletown, RI requires DoD Secret clearance and strong Bash/Python scripting with Docker/Podman in a Kubernetes environment.

You will automate environments, secure pipelines, and collaborate with development and test teams to accelerate delivery while maintaining reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 4 to 6 years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong Bash and Python scripting.
• Hands-on container image work with Docker and Podman.
• CI/CD pipeline experience in Atlassian Bamboo and GitLab CI.

Responsibilities

• Build, secure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure for submarine software delivery.
• Automate repeatable environments, harden pipelines, and collaborate with engineers and testers to improve processes.
• Manage container images, registries, and deployment strategies using Docker and Podman for Kubernetes runtime.
• Develop infrastructure as code via Bash/Python for lab environments.
• Ensure pipeline security with image scanning, secrets management, and access controls.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks aligned to configuration management practices.
