Peregrine Advisors is a rapidly growing AI and data innovation hub delivering secure, automated cloud solutions for federal agencies from strategy to deployment. You will own delivery pipelines, security gates, and infrastructure as code across AWS and on-prem environments.

The role emphasizes building secure, auditable pipelines, leveraging AI-assisted tools, and collaborating across teams in a hybrid setup based in the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevSecOps or platform engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines with security gates using AWS-native tools or equivalents.
• Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, and Docker image creation.
• Experience deploying Kubernetes clusters and managing them.
• Automated security testing (SAST/DAST/SCA) with vulnerability scanning.
• Python scripting/programming; Bash a plus.
• Proficient Linux skills and shell scripting.
• Strong networking, APIs, web app architecture knowledge.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Version control with Git.
• Experience with monitoring and logging.
• PowerPoint and Excel proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Own assigned CI/CD pipelines with security gates and infrastructure as code.
• Define infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Integrate SAST/DAST/SCA, vulnerability scanning, and secrets management into delivery paths.
• Automate provisioning and releases with health checks and rollback and generate compliance evidence.
• Support Docker and Kubernetes workloads and troubleshoot infra issues.
• Implement NIST SP 800-53 controls and maintain continuous monitoring evidence.
• Automate development with Python and AI-assisted tools; ensure code quality.
