Job summary

E&M Technologies, Inc. in Colorado Springs seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to join our NORAD-supporting team. You will collaborate with software developers and platform engineers to secure and automate mission-critical services, leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, an active Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain), and the ability to travel up to 10%. This is a full-time on-site position focused on security, reliability, and scalable software

Qualifications

• Must obtain IAT Level II Certification within 60 days of start date.
• Must have 3+ years of directly related experience.
• Must have 3+ years of general work experience.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes, including provisioning and deployment/scaling.
• Experience securing a Kubernetes environment.
• Must understand containerization (Docker).
• Experience with shell scripting (bash).
• Experience creating multistage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Atlassian Bamboo.
• Understanding of microservice architecture.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with software development teams and platform engineers to enable continuous delivery of value while ensuring stability and security of mission-critical services.
• Automate application containerization via CI/CD pipelines and orchestration of containers in Kubernetes.
• Improve development workflow and developer quality of life while enhancing security and stability of Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop and integrate full-stack applications and gain familiarity with containerization technology.
• Work with Kubernetes and cloud platforms, implementing DevSecOps practices.
