Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer II to design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure across production, QA, and development lifecycles. You will drive automation, monitoring, backups, and security tooling to support reliable service delivery.

You will apply DevOps best practices, leverage Jenkins, Ansible, and scripting to optimize CI/CD, cloud usage (AWS), and secure configurations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the government tech

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Certification to satisfy IAT Level 2 (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or similar).
• 4+ years of experience with deployment/configuration management tools like Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, and/or Ansible.
• Experience utilizing version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, and/or CVS.
• Experienced with network infrastructure, database, cloud and data center operations, and security protocols.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows OS.
• Understands AWS and other services.
• Experience with programming and scripting with languages like Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes.
• Implement automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, monitoring.
• Utilize a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the process and ensure end-to-end quality across functions.
