Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer II to design, build, and maintain a stable infrastructure spanning production, QA, and development environments. You will optimize service delivery across the full development lifecycle.

The role requires 4+ years of experience with deployment/configuration tools, strong scripting skills, and IAT Level 2 certification. A hands-on, collaborative approach is essential for success in this federal-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• IAT Level 2 certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SSCP).
• 4+ years with deployment/configuration tools (Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, and/or Ansible).
• Experience with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, SVN, CVS).
• Experience with network infrastructure, database, cloud and data center operations, and security protocols.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows OS.
• Experience with AWS and related services.
• Programming/scripting with Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, or C++.

As a DevSecOps Engineer II, you will design, build, and maintain a stable and efficient infrastructure to optimize service delivery across production, QA, and development environments throughout the development lifecycle.

The work you'll do :

• Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes.
• Implement automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, monitoring.
• Utilize a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the process and ensure end‑to‑end quality across functions.

Here's what you'll need :

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Certification to satisfy IAT Level 2 (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or similar).
• 4+ years of experience with deployment/configuration management tools like Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, and/or Ansible.
• Experience utilizing version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, and/or CVS.
• Experienced with network infrastructure, database, cloud and data center operations, and security protocols.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows OS.
• Understands AWS and other services.
• Experience with programming and scripting with languages like Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, or C++.

Bonus points if you have :

• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and other automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, SonarQube, and/or Prisma Cloud).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash), in a Linux environment (e.g., RHEL, Oracle Linux, or similar).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform and/or CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Experience with Tier 1-3 customer support and ticketing systems (e.g., GitLab Service Desk or ServiceNow).
• Understanding of AWS capabilities (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, etc) and architecting secure cloud-based infrastructure and services.
