Job summary

Integrated Solutions for Systems (IS4S) is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer in Auburn, AL to support DoD programs including C2, Fires, and EW technologies. You will join an existing multi-disciplinary team to design, develop, integrate, and deploy secure solutions for warfighter use.

Responsibilities include building deployment pipelines, enhancing security postures, addressing vulnerabilities, and ensuring DoD STIG compliance while collaborating with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or related technical field for full-time applicants.
• Pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field for part-time applicants.
• Experience in DevSecOps environments using GitLab, AWS, Azure, etc.
• Experience with software deployment processes and production releases.
• Familiarity with SAST, DAST, SCA, and DCA.
• Understanding containerization and deployment with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm.
• Proficiency with programming/scripting languages (C++, Go, Bash, Java, JavaScript).
• Strong Unix system administration knowledge.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements and testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment in a DevSecOps context.
• Create pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
• Maintain cybersecurity posture while using modern development tools and practices.
• Identify vulnerabilities, adjudicate them, and communicate or remediate as needed.
• Integrate security/compliance (encryption, access management, logging) into products.
• Adhere to STIGs and DoD security requirements.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity artifacts (scan results, POAMs, SBOMs, diagrams).
• Communicate with customers, stakeholders, and partner companies.
