The role emphasizes automating testing and deployment, maintaining strong cybersecurity posture, and addressing CVEs with POAMs while integrating STIG-guided practices.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, CS, or related field.
• Experience delivering applications in a DevSecOps framework with GitLab and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Proficient in packaging, configuration, and releasing to production/test environments.
• Understanding of CVEs, mitigations, and communicating false positives.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
• Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
• Maintain cybersecurity posture and incorporate modern tools and practices.
• Identify vulnerabilities, adjudicate, and develop POAMs.
• Integrate security/compliance into products (encryption, access management, logging).
• Align solutions to STIGs and DoD guidelines.
