Job summary

Integrated Solutions for Systems (IS4S) is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen, MD. You will help develop, integrate, and deploy DoD-focused C2, Fires, and EW solutions, enhancing cybersecurity postures while delivering secure deployments.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to automate testing, perform vulnerability remediation, and ensure compliance with STIGs, NIST, and DoD guidelines. Travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, CS, or related field.
• Experience building, testing, and delivering applications in a DevSecOps pipeline.
• Proficiency with GitLab, AWS, Azure, and related platforms.
• Experience with software deployment processes and production releases.
• Knowledge of SAST/DAST/SCA/DCA.
• Understanding of containerization and Kubernetes.
• Unix system administration experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel to support customer engagements.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with architecture, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
• Create pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
• Maintain cybersecurity posture with modern development tools and practices.
• Identify vulnerabilities and develop remediation plans.
• Integrate security and compliance into products (encryption, access management, logging).
• Adhere to STIGs and DoD guidelines.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity artifacts (SCAP, POAMs, SBOMs).
• Communicate with customers, stakeholders, and other companies.
