Job summary

IPT Associates (IPTA) seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to lead security-centric DevOps for a government-facing, cloud-native product delivered from Huntsville, AL. The role emphasizes secure CI/CD, IaC, and hybrid-cloud operations.

The ideal candidate has extensive enterprise IT and DevSecOps experience, DoD 8570 readiness, and a current security clearance. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure pipelines stay functional and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 10 years enterprise IT experience.
• Minimum 5 years in DevOps/DevSecOps environments.
• DoD 8570 Level II/III certification desired.
• Experience implementing enterprise CI/CD platforms.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience securing Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Active Security Clearance Required.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevSecOps across incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate build, test, deployment, and rollback processes.
• Create reusable pipeline templates and standardized deployment workflows.
• Optimize pipeline performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD failures and deployment issues.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform/Ansible.
• Automate provisioning of compute/storage/networking/Kubernetes.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and automation standards.
• Integrate security across the SDLC (SAST/DAST).
• Implement SAST/DAST tooling and security controls.
