Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SI&WS) Ground and Mission Systems Engineering (GMSE) seeks an Associate DevOps Developer (Level 2) to join our Engineering Analytics team in Seal Beach, California.

The role involves applying modern DevSecOps practices, standing up secure test environments, and driving continuous improvement across development, testing, and deployment activities for U.S. government programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph; U.S. citizenship required.
• 2+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Apply modern DevSecOps / GitOps practices (CI/CD, automated tests, containerized deployments, IaC) to streamline integration and test activities.
• Stand up, configure, and maintain secure test environments using cloud-native and virtualized resources.
• Drive continuous improvement of integration and test processes with automation, metrics, and lessons learned.
• Automate, develop, monitor, and troubleshoot across development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration, and security controls.
• Review, develop, document, and maintain system requirements and traceability.
• Interface with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customers.
