Job summary

Boeing is seeking a Ground Systems Engineer for a contract assignment in Seal Beach, CA, focusing on modern DevSecOps, secure test environments, and cross-functional collaboration with government customers. You will contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and secure deployments in a high-intensity development environment.

The role requires a BS in a related field, 3+ years of experience, Linux expertise, and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with an adjudicated polygraph, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. citizenship
• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Ansible software platform
• Experience with Terraform software
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence

Responsibilities

• Apply modern DevSecOps practices (including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerized deployments, and infrastructure as code) to streamline integration and test activities
• Stand up, configure, and maintain secure test environments leveraging cloud-native and virtualized resources
• Drive continuous improvement of integration and test processes, incorporating automation, metrics, and lessons learned to increase efficiency and reliability
• Automate, develop, monitor, improve, and troubleshoot across software engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls
• Review, develop, document, and maintain system requirements and traceability
• Interface with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customers
