Job summary

Ennoble First is seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to support an Intelligence Community customer in Gaithersburg, MD. This hands-on role focuses on secure development and deployment pipelines for mission-critical GEOINT systems, integrating security across the SDLC.

You will work with engineers and security teams to enable secure, reliable deployments in both classified and unclassified environments while leveraging AWS, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and IaC tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant experience.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and toolchains.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Hands-on deploying and managing AWS infrastructure (CDK).
• Experience with Docker and containerized apps.
• Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for microservices and containers.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using CDK.
• Operate containerized apps with ECS and Docker.
• Integrate CDK, GitLab, Docker, and ECS for automated deployments.
• Support container environments with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Manage infrastructure with IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Ensure secure provisioning and monitoring of cloud environments.
• Collaborate with security teams to harden architectures and workflows.
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and RMF/STIG alignment.
