Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company seeks a Mid DevSecOps Engineer to lead design, security, and automation of delivery pipelines and infrastructure for mission-critical applications. You will own CI/CD workflows that ensure compliant deployments across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role emphasizes infrastructure-as-code, observability, and collaboration with development, cloud, and security teams to standardize tools and DevSecOps practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 4–7+ years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with security automation.
• Solid understanding of cloud and on-prem infrastructure, auto-provisioning and configuration management.
• Hands-on experience with Agile and DevSecOps, CI/CD tooling and automation for scalable, service-based delivery.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and U.S. citizenship for this remote federal IT role.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, security scanning, and deployment activities for mission-critical systems across multiple environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code templates to provision cloud and on-premises environments.
• Embed security baselines, policy checks, and monitoring into pipelines to enforce DevSecOps practices and early vulnerability detection.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, and security teams to standardize toolchains that support an as-a-Service delivery model.
• Support auto-provisioning of compute, storage, and networks using automation tools.
• Monitor pipeline and platform health, troubleshoot build and deployment issues, and drive continuous improvement with metrics.
• Document DevSecOps standards, runbooks, and best practices; coach teams on pipeline and secure-coding practices.
