Job summary

Sigma Defense Systems is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to automate release processes and manage CI/CD across multi-environment deployments. The role emphasizes GitLab CI, IaC (Bicep/Terraform), and collaboration with Azure networking teams to maintain secure, scalable pipelines.

Candidates should have 4+ years in DevSecOps, strong Linux scripting skills, and experience with GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker, and security-focused tooling. U.S. citizenship required and TS/SCI clearance may be sponsored.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in DevSecOps or related field.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
• Strong GitLab CI knowledge and pipeline design.
• Proficient with Linux and scripting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Build reusable pipeline functionality with GitLab components and patterns.
• Support automated build, test, security validation, packaging, and deployment.
• Develop release automation for multi-environment delivery.
• Implement and maintain GitOps deployment workflows.
• Integrate security, testing, and compliance gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Create Infrastructure as Code with Bicep and/or Terraform.
• Deploy and configure Azure infrastructure via automated pipelines.
• Troubleshoot across pipelines, apps, Linux, Azure, networking, and virtualization.
