Job summary

Sigma Defense seeks a DevSecOps Engineer in Tampa to own and optimize CI/CD pipelines across Linux, Azure, and container platforms. You will implement GitLab CI workflows, IaC with Bicep/Terraform, and GitOps practices while ensuring security and compliance throughout the release process.

You will collaborate with software and infrastructure teams, automate deployments, and support DoD-regulated environments. A TS/SCI clearance is preferred or sponsorable.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in DevSecOps or related field.
• Hands-on in CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
• Experience with GitLab CI, IaC, and cloud infrastructure.
• Security-conscious engineering in DoD/regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Integrate GitOps, IaC, and automated testing into release processes.
• Deploy and manage Azure-based infrastructure and AKS where applicable.
• Collaborate with developers and security teams to meet compliance.
• Troubleshoot deployments spanning pipelines, Linux, and cloud infra.
• Create reusable pipeline components and automation utilities.
