Job summary

Sigma Defense Systems is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Tampa, FL. You will own end-to-end release processes across GitLab CI, IaC, and Azure, collaborating with specialists to resolve issues from code to production.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in DevSecOps, strong GitLab CI experience, and hands-on IaC in Bicep/Terraform. U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI eligibility may be required for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevSecOps, DevOps, or related technical experience.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
• Strong GitLab CI capabilities and reusable pipeline patterns.
• Experience with GitLab components and GitOps workflows.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting.
• Azure infrastructure, networking, and virtualization knowledge.
• IaC experience with Bicep and/or Terraform.
• Git-based source control and collaborative workflows.
• US citizen with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI.
• Build reusable pipeline functionality using GitLab patterns.
• Support automated build, test, security validation, packaging, and deployment.
• Create release automation for multi-environment delivery.
• Maintain GitOps deployment and configuration-management workflows.
• Integrate software, infrastructure, security requirements into release processes.
• Develop IaC using Bicep and/or Terraform for Azure deployments.
• Configure Azure networking and virtualization for deployments.
• Troubleshoot issues across pipelines, apps, Linux, and Azure.
