Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a DevSecOps engineer to build, secure, and operate the shared platform that our client's mission applications run on, on AWS and in air-gapped environments. This role focuses on automation, CI/CD pipelines, hardened images, automated scanning, and controlled promotion of artifacts.

You will assist with ATO/RMF activities, remediate security findings, and provide Tier 1-3 support for the deployed platform.

Qualifications

3 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
3 years of experience with AWS or comparable cloud platforms (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM).
2 years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
2 years of experience with containers and Kubernetes; AWS EKS experience preferred.
Experience infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar for automation and tooling.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+, CISSP, CASP, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Build and maintain automation moving applications from commit to production — CI/CD pipelines and hardened container images.
Remediate security findings in platform infrastructure and container images; support ATO and RMF activities.
Provide Tier 1-3 support for the deployed platform.
