Job summary

Istari Digital is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our Engineering team to secure, harden, and scale the platform across cloud-hosted environments. The role collaborates with platform, infrastructure, and security stakeholders to improve security, compliance readiness, and reliability for AWS and Kubernetes workloads, including environments hosting government data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevSecOps or related field.
• Strong AWS production experience.
• Experience with vulnerability management, patching, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure in AWS.
• Manage Kubernetes-based environments and production workloads.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Harden production systems across cloud, compute, container, identity, and network layers.
• Develop and maintain secure baseline configurations for infrastructure and platform services.
• Support compliance initiatives, audits, evidence collection, and control validation.
