Job summary

Prominent is seeking a DevSecOps Deployment & Release Manager to lead automated, zero-trust CI/CD processes and govern frequent feature releases. You will ensure patches flow from Integration to Production using a gated, multi-environment pipeline and enforce dark-launch techniques via feature flags.

The role requires daily release reporting, strong teamwork, and hands-on Azure experience. Remote work is possible for an outstanding candidate, with onsite options in multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of experience driving orchestration, automation, and security of CI/CD pipelines in zero-trust environments.
• Hands-on experience with daily release cycles and automated security scans.
• Experience deploying in Azure and preventing build drift across DEV/INT/LOD/PRD environments.

Responsibilities

Prominent has a contract to hire need for a DevSecOps Deployment & Release Manager. While preference will be given to candidates within a commutable distance to our clients offices in either Omaha, Nebraska, Greenwood Village, Colorado, or Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, REMOTE is possible for an outstanding candidate! This DevSecOps Deployment & Release Manager ensures the delivery train is technically primed for daily, silent deployments to Production while managing the governance of regularly occurring feature releases. This manager architecturally enforces an automated, multi-stage gated pipeline that passes identical build packages across all environments to eliminate "Staging Drift." By leveraging Azure App Configuration, they ensure that code flows continuously into Integration (INT), Pre-Release (LOD), and Production (PRD) strictly restricted to a deactivated "Off State" (Dark Launching).

Essential Skills And Experience Required

• 5 to 7+ years of experience with the following:
  • Driving the orchestration, automation, and security of the CI/CD pipeline in a zero-trust environment using tools such as Sonatype & Fortify
  • Significant hands‑on technical experience in an environment that had daily releases
  • Experience with automated security scans
  • Championed daily deployments that used Feature Flags to deploy code in off state using Azure App Configuration feature flag wrappers
  • Experience with Infrastructure deployments in Azure
  • Methods to obtain zero variations in build artifacts across DEV, INT, LOD, and PRD environments
  • Orchestration of automated performance testing in an Azure environment
  • Enabling instant operational rollbacks
  • Azure cloud environments
• Candidate must be experienced with creating and presenting reports to business stakeholders on the daily releases
• Candidate must have strong teamwork skills, strong presentation skills, and strong problem solving skills

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Experience with Azure Gov Cloud
• Experience working with FedRAMP, FISMA High, and /or Zero Trust
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Anticipated hourly rate while on contract is in the $75-84/hr range.
